Thinking about how you should groom your eyebrows in a way that will flatter your face? In this short post we will discuss how to groom your eyebrows with 4 common face shapes: oval, round, long and heart.

Oval Face Shape
Your ideal brow: A moderate arch instead of a high arch (a higher arch will just exaggerate your longer face shape), says Natalie Plain, CEO and founder of Billion Dollar Brows. Extend the end out horizontally, rather than dipping downward, another look that will elongate your face, Plain says.
How to get it: Place one end of your eyebrow pencil at your nostril and line it up over the center of your pupil—the point at which the pencil crosses your eyebrow is where your arch should be. For perfect symmetry on either end of your brow, hold the pencil horizontally and level with the beginning of your brow (it should end just past the outer corner of your eye) and fill in with powder or pencil.  Source: Prevention

Round Face Shape
The aim for ladies with round face shapes is to make your face appear longer and thinner, basically to look more oval shaped than round. This can easily be done by shaping your eyebrows to have some height. High rounded eyebrows will only enhance the roundness of your face so aim for angled brows to gain the height as these will be best! Brows should be straight up and down, the arch of your brows should be as high as you can possibly get it, this will all help draw the eye of others up and down the face creating the illusion of a longer face. Long Face Shape
“A long face is characterized by features that are vertically stretched out,” Healy explains. “In this case, it is important to extend the tails of your brows east-to-west to really play up horizontal features.”
“I always suggest that the tails of brows extend beyond the corner of the eye, but a long face should make it a point for tails to extend a bit longer. It is important to beware when sculpting the tail, however, as allowing it out too far will drag the eye down and make it appear droopy.” Source: StyleCaster

Heart Face Shape
A heart-shaped face sounds so very sweet, but according to Lynn, it’s the trickiest of the bunch. “The focus of the face is already on the eye and forehead area, so any fussing tends to accentuate that effect,” she says. In general, leave things alone. You want a low, straight-ish arch that hugs your brow bone. “Heavy shaping is a major no-no,” she says. “You’re just cleaning up any real wild cards.” And don’t attack sparse zones with a pencil. “In this case, less weight is a good thing,” she says.
