There are varieties of benefits that facial treatment can offer you and your skin health and wellness. In this article we’ll discuss 3 of those benefits, including: cleansing, exfoliation and moisture.
Facials, face packs, aromatherapy facials and massage with facial creams and other remedies help deep cleanse the skin, removing toxins caused by pollution, grease and dirt found in your everyday environment. Such facials help to reduce an overabundance of sebum, which is a natural substance moisturizes and lubricates the skin. Overproduction of sebum can cause skin problems, including blackheads and acne. Cleansing facials open the pores of the skin, remove dead skin and toxins from the face, and clean the surface of the skin through exfoliation that tightens and firms the skin, according to Seasons India. Physical (ultrasound or microdermabrasion crystals) and/or chemical (acids and enzymes) exfoliants to stimulate cell renewal, remove dry skin, break down stubborn discoloration (brown spots) and fade post-breakout red/dark marks. Exfoliation also allows action ingredients to absorb deeper within the skin for maximum skin results. Source: http://blog.reneerouleau.com/what-are-the-benefits-of-getting-a-facial/

If you skip a meal, your skin is left hungry, and it shows inside and out. So, bare minimum, we should all be moisturizing AT LEAST twice a day. Let every stomach growl be your reminder.
